Lassen Park In the Northeast corner of the park is a large cinder cone worth climbing to get a view of the painted hills and lava field below and to the east.

 

Bowling Ball Beach  Strange round boulders close to Manchester on the Mendocino Coast that are best photographed during the minus tides in late winter and early spring when they are visible along the beach.

 

Pt. Reyes Cypress Tree Tunnel  On the way to the lighthouse pull off when you see the sign for the KPH Radio Center to view the long driveway lined with these overhanging trees.
