DEATH VALLEY

When most people think of Death Valley they picture a desolate desert region. There are a number of beautiful places within the park that warrant a visit.

The Racetrack  It's a long rough drive to this location but you are rewarded with a view of a large dry mud plain with scattered rocks that have been blown by the wind, creating trails in the dirt. A surreal place to visit.

Mesquite & Eureka Dunes  Some of the most photogenic sand dunes in the US.

Zabrisky Point  A good sunset location to view these multi-colored rocks.

Artist Drive is close to here and also has colorful rock formations worth photographing.
